Another High Powered WOPL 1000 up for sale. For those not familiar with a WOPL, it stands for "White Oak Phase Linear" and this unit is built off of the components that are professionally engineered by the famed engineer Joe at White Oak Audio (Google White Oak Audio for more insight).This is a pic of what to expect,the amplifier to look like, this one I just changed over to the vintage silver face but is available in black. If you are not very familiar with these, they are labor intensive and the only things from a vintage 700B is the Transformer and meters and a couple small bits and pieces. It's got a new laser engraved faceplate (I have a Original Silver face on it now) to go with all the rest of the new White Oak parts. The DC Protection circuitry is provided by Don Imlay at "Watts Abundant" and this will ensure if your amp ever malfunctions, the speakers will not take DC power which would cause damage to your speakers. Approximate Power out of these beasts is 500 Watts Per Channel (Some have been much higher). All the issues which plagued the Phase Linear 700B has been engineered out to provide you with a Quality Dependable amplifier which will last for many years to come provided care is take and the unit is not abused. THE AMPLIFIER COMES WITH A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY PROVIDED THE AMPLIFIER WAS NOT MISUSED OR OPENED UP BY UNAUTHORISED TECHNICIANS.
