They want a lot for the R102 handles $225 and for me it would be about $67 for SHIPPING...what, are they made of truffles?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-PIONEER-JA-R102-RACK-HANDLES/131774174868

SPEC handles:

$125 FREE SHIPPING http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-PIONEER-SPEC1-RACK-HANDLES-CLEAN-USED-CONDITION/182083666122

OR...$59.99 a piece, 2 available FREE SHIPPING
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pioneer-Spec-Series-Rack-Handles-/121899960927

Buy the SPEC 1 FACEPLATE, get the handles for BIN $225 or best offer FREE SHIPPING http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pioneer-Spec-1-Pre-Amplifier-Rack-Face-Plate-with-Handles-/121945769078

OR go completely whole hog and get the entire SPEC 2 power amp with the handles http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Pio...-with-Handles-110-220-FREE-SHIP-/111957285199

That's a lot when you know a WOPL is better tho.

I got lucky finding that much so far...eBay search sucks.

I know John (oliverclosehauf) at TH was looking for a decent pair. I purchased a very nice pair of rack handles from Gordon S. of Innovative Audio. I had no idea these handles were commanding big dollars on the internet. The ones I've seen listed on the internet are listed for twice the price I paid for mine, and look half as nice. And mine came with the correct factory hardware.

I have them mounted on my Pioneer CT-F1250 cassette deck.

Nearly the value of Gold

I have a set of these I purchased back in the late 70s/early 80s. Seems they were around $30 dollars or so. Are they THAT rare? Mine are currently attached to a CTF950 cassette deck.

Hi, Ben. The cassette deck above the CT-F1250 is a Pioneer CT-A7. I haven't done a good job on keeping everyone updated, here, on what I've acquired since rejigging my system.

Here is a video of it playing one of Miles' tapes:

Thats ok Nando. I havent done a single thing with my stereo in quite a long time. Havent had much time to peruse the record shops either. Have acquired very little music in the last year. And for most of the summer rocked satellite radio in the garage with my Pioneer SA-7100 and some Sony 6x9's.

Nice deck, and sounds quite good too. Cant say its a deck im familiar with.
