What's the value of a recapped working as expected for a stock unit 700 II Pro Black/Rack Faceplate?

This unit is a bit rough on the outside, faceplate with some bruises maybe a 6/10 but it is functionally 100% and has been recapped.

A friend has one and we are wondering.

It's worth however much it gets bid up to on the bay. Tell him I'll give him $450 for it since I will never pay out more than that for a 40 year old "Core Amp" which I'd WOPL. Especially an amp with a beat up face plate we will never be able to replace. I've wanted one for a long time but the condition of them when they do "Pop"up, is not good. The Pro amps don't usually get treated very well. IMHO......

NOTHING is worth MORE than anyone is willing to pay. A lesson I learned from my first boss who ran a flea market on the side.
