I received my Onix CD1 yesterday. Haven't even unpacked it yet. I will try it today. Alone and with the PT 1 & 3. Will see if the sound changes any.

Recently I got a Mac CD player- based from the mid 90s. It certainly is the best sounding digital player I've heard yet. It has a very smooth quality to it which reminds me of what SACD can do.
 
My CED player is here now but where to categorize it?
