I was reading about this the other day. Yes I can read. I know most people like screw shells; but why?
What I read is very logical. The 5 screw puts uneven pressure on the shell. While the welded shell puts equal pressure all the way around.

What do you think?

Yes I realize that; but in a perfect world. You wouldn't need to repair. So why 5 screws and not 4 or 6. So sonically which would be superior?

I like the screw shells much better as they allow for easier repair and the brand name screw shells seem to be of much better quality materials than the pre-recorded sonically welded shells.
