User name just an old hobby and nickname combo. Old friends call me "OZ" or "The Wizard". Don't get to excited...it started from my bocce league, I do have a knack of making things happen on the courts.

Have to thank Nick Danger for turning me onto this site. Just finished putting together my system after a year of collecting. All in working order but now may be looking to upgrade and preserve my gear. Hope to start with my PL 400 and it seems this is a great place to lurk and learn. I'll be chiming in once I know what the hell I'm doing so I don't sound like a total nob.

I have a sneaky feeling this site is going to get me in trouble with my wife. Then again she should know better....she let me bring my B&W's home.

Sounds like you're the guy to know if I decide to upgrade the PL 400. She's driving my 808's very nicely now but I think the speakers deserve more.

Hope you don't mind me asking questions in the future? I don't mind working on my gear myself but have limited electronic knowledge and beginner soldering skills. What I've seen about the WO upgrades they give pretty good instructions (I can read), I just have to muster up the courage to attempt it.

Rules were made to be broken but only if you have the knowledge to do so. I'm pretty thick skinned and can dish it out with the best of them (when I know what I'm doing). I'm not an electronics nut but strive to get the best out of my system on a beer budget.
