It's nice to see you join, Scott. I've been shuttered from Tapeheads for the time being, and hopefully, that will be rectified. I returned to work two weeks ago, so I'm happy about that. How have things been in Chilliwack?
Thanks for the welcome guys! Stu actually asked me to come here a little while back. I just got to it now.
Life in the 'wack is going ok. Im going on a trip to Eastern Canada for the summer. My Tandberg 3014A deck is pretty much repaired and waiting for Canada Post to get its act together while Im waiting till July to ship it to me. Im also looking into getting a new job, but as of yet did not hear from the company- so I may be staying put for now. I've got some things to take care of still (like replacing my current computer with a new one). Your right Nando- I have too much on my plate this year to do all I wanted. My Mustang project is also on hold indefinately due to lack of funding for it. Its an expensive project I just can't get into right now. Stu- I wrote another story and have to ideas for more yet. Not completely happy with the draft I came up with though.
A trip planned for how far east, Scott? Too bad about the Mustang being on hold for now, but you have a basic start with an engine and high performance pieces for your build-up. You didn't miss out with not having your car ready for this year, as there have only been a handful of times worthy of bringing a classic out. You will have to tell us more about your new job. Just as I got recalled back to work, Geri resigned her job. It was long overdue and a stress has been lifted. She has an interview tomorrow and she had already begun distance education courses through Capilano University before she quit.

Trip to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI. Not going to Newfy land. Yah the Mustang I just don't have the funds for right now. I figured the engine alone will cost 10 grand in funds. Then I still have to buy the car itself. They run in the 3 to 7 grand range right now. I have a friend who is willing to sell his to me, but I just don't have 7 grand for it.
As for the new job- its still in the service industry- but instead of photo- its automotive related. Its a step down in money, but I can alway move up in time and it would get me out of the drama of my current job. The stress from the drama at my current job is getting to be a bit much at times. Too much secrecy going on as well. Hard to trust people. But there is no guarantee I'll even get the job or an interview. So I may be staying put. Based on what I've heard today (with trying to not tell me what they know), my boss may have been called for a reference today.
Rob gave me a phone call tonight. He and his wife just returned from a 12 day vacation in Hawaii. We'll have to get together in mid July, as he's planning to come across the border again sometime then.
