Found one ready for the dumpster and I would love to bring it back to playable condition. I know a lot of guys upgrade parts over the stock stuff that comes on USA's so I need a chrome bridge and ashtray cover, chrome covered bridge pickup, Fender mini pots, chrome vintage reissue Fender tuners and Fender backplate. I could use the black plastic witch hat knobs also with the silver centers denoting whether it's a Vol or Tone knob. I also need a neck badly as the frets are pretty beat on this one. I plan to call this the Karmacaster as it will be assembled with unwanted/un-needed parts donated. I wish I could pay but all I can do is offer records or CD's in trade if someone wants compensation for good parts

I am only looking for USA Fender parts to bring this together, no import parts (Affinity or Mexican). Japanese Fender stuff a possibility but it has to be for a Telecaster Custom

I started to refinish the body which was really beatup and now it is natural mahogany. This was a Keith Richards '72 blackie clone w/ the humbucker in the neck w/ offset poles

PM if you can help. I realize this might be a longshot but I have to start somewhere

Thanks! I would love to windmill this ala Pete Townsend when it's finally done LMAO

Ron

Here's the pics of the trainwreck. I will say the body is coming out ok judging from the first coat. I see a lot of grain movement

It is a 1977, the guitar sold on the MyLesPaul forum before the finish was even dry LOL. I could not bond with the baseball bat neck
