5-1/4" mid drivers needed for the rear of my Ti. Stock speakers are shaped like an amoeba but (overpriced) adapters allow 5-1/4 round speakers to be used.
Co-axial with tweeter is okay too. I think the amoeba includes a separate tweeter that would be deleted after the adapter goes in... I haven't pulled it apart yet, because I want to open it, fix it, and put it back together. One and done.
I don't care about name brand fancy-schmancy speakers, but those are fine too if cheap enough. Just functional ones that don't buzz like a dragonfly on every note under 200hz.
