Wanted: Have the service manual, can anybody belt, etc. my Pioneer recording Walkman?

I bought it around two years ago I think and it records, it's a less common Pioneer portable, has autoreverse and Dolby on playback only. Uses 2 'AA' batteries. Motor hums, hiss in phones but no movement.

Not my forte right now and I'd really hope to have it fixed by Christmas.

FYI October's budget is full, not in a huge hurry then but I'd love to have it running. It's really cool even if it isn't a Sony DD series.

30 views (myself at least twice) and crickets?

I budget month to month, maybe two-three ahead occasionally, have to know things...still plan to send the TR-808 off for repairs in November too.

Tomorrow and Monday I get paid. Utilities and cat food. Get back to me?

Warren/Dr*Audio on TH tells me they are a pain to take apart and put together, and he is an experience Pioneer tech, which leaves me bummed. I don't have the hands to feel comfortable with it, I wouldn't want to klutz it.
