Look for a nice mint Sony WM D6C Pro, i think they made one without the record feature, you don't need that, but as with all of these units, they had major tape issues, you need to find NOS and bid high, like $150 +, and get a new pair of Grado's for it!!!

Yes I guess so on the Grados. I'm liking them more and more. Oh well they are going to someone who will appreciate them.

The Infinity is pretty good, and historic. It was the first in the US with a removable tuner module.

You will like the FF and RW buttons. They are the squares right on top of the reel hubs. This mechanism was actually quite reliable.

Thanks Tom. Well I knocked the units off the table the other day and guess what. The Infinity wasn't working. It is doing dandy now. LOL Drop wrench works sometimes. The Toshiba I just got the belt for it. Will tackle it before the Yamaha.

funny story on the Infinity! Kinda like the old days when you had to wack the TV to get a clear picture I know those little tightly packed walkmans are a pig to do the belts on, I know John, aka Macyver has done a couple, do you want me to email him, he could probably help you alot with that, he really knows how to tear into stuff and get it going, let me know?
