In this case the attack seems to be originating from Poland. The email addresses ended in .pl
 
Yeah daggone "lurker/spammers".. they'll register, and then a few days later they'll "hit". We had a real rash of them on Friday, for which some "countermeasures" have been installed. These freaks had already registered prior to it, but got 'em all cleaned up.
 
Soft deletion means that you exclude the posts from the forum without removing themm entirely and realigning the tables...a witch, I'm told. Ask Jer.
 
It is an option in the admin toolbox, Lee. I leave the nuclear blasting to Jer as it is his prerogative, in case he desired to reverse it.

The nuclear blast makes it so it can never come back. The soft delete means that it shuts it down but leaves it in the database.
