I upgrade a section of my systems one at a time. Did digital for a long time. Looking for better CDPs. Haven't upgraded my cables yet. Now it is TT time. I will shop till I think I have the best I can afford. Did cassette decks for years. So I go through my phases. I will build a nice base system of an amp, preamp, and speakers then I will concentrate on certain components. Sometimes I go off on a tangent. This summer I bought music. Well LPs. I can match the speakers I have to whatever system I want them on. They are all Bi-wired. I still have every speaker I have bought in the last 7 years. I do like messing with upgrades that is how I learn. It may take me years to finish a project though. I started on the MH TT last year rewiring the tone arm after I broke a female connector. I will finish it this year. Then I will start building the USB DAC. I have a lot to do this winter. I have some decks to rebelt and the Nak 1000 to figure out the intermittent left channel. LOL It is fun to make things better than they were. Looking for parts and doing the research. There is so much to this hobby or whatever you want to call it obsession. LOL

Tubes are sort of expensive; but very rewarding when you get the magical tubes in the components.
