Well who has $1300 for a homemade box with parts in it? Awfully crude construction. A perf board and resistors hanging in air?
I do not understand the theory. If the shield is at 80 volts, how is that different from ground? I assume the tube provides an AC path to ground. Since when is NOT GROUND better than GROUND?
