That has got to be depressing. Only, yesterday, our weather here in Squamish resembled anything spring-like. Before that, it was "dreadfully dreary" as Prince William would say.

These pictures were taken from my upstairs master bedroom window looking south. Our cherry blossoms came out a month late this year.

Nando, is that the big rock where the bears come down off of to feed? What do they like to eat? Vintage Pioneer gear? :cyclops:

Lee: I love living in Squamish. Before moving to Squamish, I lived in a small mining community, Britannia Beach, for the first 20 years of my life. It's seven miles south of Squamish. My family had a home right on the shore of Howe Sound, and I told Geri I would love to move back to Britannia in five years time.

Hi Web,

That big granite rock behind my house is the Stawamus Chief. It's claimed to be the second largest monolith in the world at a height of 2,297'. There's wildlife all around: the bears don't have to bother being up that high, as the black bears and cougars can safely pick off the school children as they are walking on the trails to and from school. The birds are really attracted to the supertweeters on my Pioneer HPM-150s when I play Jean Michel Jarre. The odd one has broken its neck trying to fly through the master bedroom window.
