Jimmy Page and curating deluxe reissues of his bands historic studio Lp's. Rarity-Laden editions of 1971's Led Zeppelins IV and '73's Houses of the Holy come out on October 28th, and Page
has finished preparing the rest of the catalog for release. The new version of Presence,
he found on a reel with an extra mix of the album. "People said that this was a milestone album", Page said at one point of IV, "Well it is."'

A new (I assume "different" version of 'Presence') would make my year!
Supposed 'Graffiti will be released late next winter - on it's 40th anniversary - and the rest of the catalog, by this time next year.

It would be cool if the colors of the covers like the ones depicted, I woul dbe in. I saw a black cover version of II on eBay but apparently the covers are like the originals?

The fronts are the original but since they are all gatefolds, one of the other sides is the "reprocessed" color treatments that you like. I think they are totally cool, so much so that I use the new color rendition covers as the "cover art" in my digital library... on my Zune and embedded in the actual files.

I bought the remastered LZ III more than a month ago- I still haven't played the album, but the companion disc is great.

I hear that LZ II was a wreck, Whole Lotta Love was a disaster as far as the "swirling" sounds go. Opinions on this (before I buy it...)?

I have I, II, and III. II is the only one I have opened and listened to at this point. I would say its far from being a wreck. I much enjoyed it to be honest.
