It was a lower model of the line but since we only know about the 160s and 120s here in the states, generally, I don't know how many lower models were available below the 165.
Things that vary in the line are the sub platter, metal or plastic, the bearing (shaft of the sub platter) 7 or 10 mm, the construction of the base and the bottom cover. The switch cover on the one I had was plastic whereas the switch cover on the TD-160 Super is metal.
I'm not familiar with the arms enough to know if there is a difference.
