You can snap em apart at any of the joints and make em longer or shorter or what ever..

Flexible tubing I picked up here. I used some generic banana clips and with a little bending with some jewels pliers, they fit nice and snug in the nozzle ends. Used the press to drill holes through nozzles and clips so I could run some wiring through both to keep them together.

Idea was an Instructable I came across a while ago.

The tubing I used is a slightly different size than the Loc- Line brand and is not compatible with their accessories.

If you have the strength of a mountain gorilla! These suckers fit SNUGLY. The Loc- Line brand actually sells a tool for assembly/ disassembly.

That is a cool application for the flex tubing - we use these for our CNC machine and I would have never thought of using them for something else. I'm thinking Doug that you can use two of those extra hands to hold a couple of components while you're soldering and the third could hold a spliff. :smokin:

3rd Hand putting in time today

Normally I would allow my solder sucker to hang off the table and bounce on my leg to let me know where it was located:

Well, that's no fun.

Was glad to have it to hold a component and magnifying glass so I could snap a picture:
