So....the case has been ordered. It will be available to all Model 1 builders who chose to use it. No charge. A beautiful heavy duty premium ATA rated shipping case. It will look like the PL 400/700 case i had built years ago. Price has come up a bit from 10 years ago. The original was 246.00, this one is 514.00. Just doin my part fellas.
This thread will be stuck and used to facilitate the comings and goings of the case.....

Hi Lee
Did you use the dimension drawing that I sent to Eric? I suggest removing the volume knobs for shipping. They are heavy and may damage the pots.

Cabbage Cases is in my back yard, figuratively speaking. They're legendary since the early 70's in Central Ohio. You can do a one off like a P.L. 400 case, or a complete world tour, and you get the same treatment. Road gear that holds up to the abuse of baggage handlers and roadies who are having a bad day.

If you have S/N 3, then I have S/N’s 4 & 5.
Yes, I have S/N 2 & 3. I spoke with Joe a while ago about creating an adhesive S/N Plate to affix to the back of the chassis. He said he would think about the idea. When I told him I had an alphanumeric set of 1/4" Metal Stamps, he said don't even think about stamping the S/N into back of that chassis...

Plenty of electrical kits Mark. Zero mechanical kits at the moment. I am at reorder point on those.
