Soooooo......
Thr Coherence was sounding bad, and when that happens its time to swap batteries. Slid the Synergy in its place.....man ....for...1200...not a thing wrong with it, what a fuckin buy. No remote, but the Synergy runs the Coherence firmware and software.
The pics are of the Coherence power supply. Milled from a sold block of 6061.
The Coherence came without the remote receiver for the remote. It was an add on and was lost.

Randy won 60,000.00 at the Horse Palace Friday, gonna have to separate him from a few of those
A Synergy and a couple of White Oak Mdel Ones.
..that'd be a good start to a system...

Its bad whwn a guy has to drop 1300 to run a sub on his preamp while the primary gets rebatteried
The bass slam might be a a little better on the Synergy...

I presume it charges the batteries when “off” and disconnects the a/c line when “on”. And under-volted op amps sound poor…

Wyn’s phono pre toyed with running on 9V batteries but there was no sonic or measurable difference.

Despite this I put my power supply external.
