You can't go wrong with a Pioneer SX receiver.

I once owned the entire 50 series lineup from the 450 thought the 1250. I took some pictures of all of them stacked, but for the life of me I can find them.

Here are shots of the SX-450, Sony CDP-190 (1989) and Sony SS-U5030 12" 3-ways.

Good: The receiver and CDP work well

Fixit columm: The power/speaker selector probably needs a cleaning as sometimes the lights flicker until you switch it back and forth...the sound isn't affected and once you get it back it stays.

Bad but not Ugly: Both woofers need refoaming (they aren't broken however so an easy fix)
