These guys apparently are the R&D team that was at Oppo. Website is rough and only two products at the moment but initial impressions are good. The flagship 900 plays all region discs as well, which is a bonus for me as many movies were not in all regions…

They've been around for a bit. Nice units but way overpriced for what you get. The Panasonic UB9000 is still a better product; much better priced and full featured.
The Panny even handles tone-mapping better because of it's HDR optimization capabilities... (where 4K is concerned). The P1K revision is the one to get!

I can't remember exactly the last time I actually inserted a disc into any player of mine.
I think it was my 'Wish you were here' SACD a few years ago.
I miss physical media, espcially vinyl.
I'm inspired to go sniffing and fondling some LP covers now....
