The F35 can't fly near lightning?

That's not the first issue that "Over Complicated" Next Generation "Whistling Shit Can" has had. I was at Eglin doing Shake N Bake on our ground control stations and related unmanned aircraft systems and every time I turned around they were grounding them things. They should have stayed with the F-14. It will take them 15 years to get the bugs ironed out and at 80 million a piece, it's a POS.

They have the Lightening restriction, Super Sonic time in flight restrictions (erode a F-35's stealth coating ), Weight restrictions for the pilots ( restrict pilots weighing less than 136 pounds ), and many more, which, after 800 birds have already been built and by now, all that shit should have been fixed.

What a junk aircraft.

We're still overhauling blades for the F100-229, which is used in the F15 and F16...

Another core came in today from Belgium as a matter of fact.

I've read so many www articles about the F-35 "Turkey" that for a while I thought that was it's name...

I’m working for a third party that (I believe) is sole source for overhaul of the -229 HPC blades. We are for sure the sole source for the main shaft coupling overhaul.

I’ve worked on several Pratt Canada parts over the years. Nothing lately.
