Dan and 2 other guys. I have biased more tube amps than you have seen. LMBO They said this may be a custom pair. Every one of this model had a bias point. They had never heard them not having one. I sent pics and S/Ns. One is 49 and one is 50 S/N wise.

I am not going in a hot amp with my shakes. LOL Cough Cough. Gotta fix that in a min. Just in tubes I have put a lot of money in these amps unheard. LOL

The original owner stated in the ebay ad that he had talked to Cary about the lack of bias pots, and there was a change mid-run that had some without it as far as the Cary folks could tell, did anyone save the info on that ad?

Well I stand corrected, I could've sworn the seller had talked about the bias trim pots missing, but maybe I'm thinking of another pair reviewed elsewhere, anyway, these had running changes and I'd be surprised if they were one offs from Dennis Had's labs, if so, Larry you got sumthin' special if they are auto bias from the 'Master's' hand and even if you like to futz with that shit, just know its all right

Biasing and why the heater light doesn't work. Also see where the noise is coming from if it is the tubes. If they do it for free and it needs it put the bias in. These have been running for years w/0 a tube bias that we know of.

This is going to be my system. No more buying except for maybe a source.

Pretty good price for a tune up. 125.00 for the fix and tune it to my tubes. They will test the old ones but won't let them in. I think for 125.00 I'm sending.
