Neither is the PM routine, sends me right back to the home page when I try to enter the TO field.

WHAT'S UP?

This wasn't there until I tried to post a Ghostbusters logo to Tony's stupid remark with the line through the circle thing.

I've had problems with vB 4.2.1 and 4.2.2, and now 3.9.3 that is proprietary to internet brands forums (Bike Forums) ...composing/editing window buttons not working, manual tagging not working and I was trying to post a previous comment when in the middle of composing it stalled, I hit reset and despite clicking remember me and telling IE to remember my login details I was bumped off and had to sign in again, at least it worked after that, maybe I hit a hotkey.

Related? I have no idea and AVG Free has scanned all my machines, I even reinstalled Spybot on one and scanned it first. Still goofy. I'm also constantly getting into insert mode a lot lately, making it hard to edit. so vB in general is not working for me.

If I am replying to you now using said composing and editing window, then how is it "not working right"? Cardinal rule of I.T., Steven.. If I can't reproduce the issue, I can't fix it... Sorry bud, but that's the deal...

(edited here too.. know = now.. )

nope

And I can fix broke eventually. Or as you know, Windows just does stuff now and then, worse than my cat.

PS XenForo is working great!

I can't say much about IPS powerboard because that sites database got clobbered two weeks back and it's in a medically induced coma.

I can post and edit just fine with both Windows and Mac platforms. Look within, or possibly look to another browser?

I'll yank the gateway power and let it sit a while and go over my windows hotfixes. This happens every so often, y'all flick me crap about my browser/OS for trying to diagnose it and it gets fixed at some point, That's a broken record. but I gotta play it sometimes.

We're going through a DOWNGRADE at bike Forums as it is and trying to figure that out and we are typically peer support for everything lately, platforms and major operating systems/apps/hardware issues alike.

The teasing isn't doing a lot. Jer and Web's reporting has.

Don't be too hard on him. He is doing the best he can with the computer equipment he has.

I know you like IE, but I was just mentioning trying another browser to see if the issue is in the browser.

BTW vB 3.9.3 is working okay, it's 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 that are doing this.

I have to figure what settings I made the last time I reset the browser but I won't guarantee that works. These two versions were asked (they actually demanded) by vBS to update to the 4.2.4 patching. I'm paying attention to that.
