I just posted my TEAC Z-7000 on eBay. The deck is in a #9 condition physically, but needs new belts for the transport motor. The deck was built in 1983 and is extremely rare. I don't have the remote control, and there is one plastic piece missing from the Master Recording slider (which doesn't affect it's use). All the other knobs and sliders are intact.

The sound on this deck is comparable to large reel-to-reel decks. There are many reviews of this deck on the Internet, and many posts reflecting on it's sound, and rarity.

I wouldn't be selling it but I need new specialized contact lenses more than I need the deck.

Hello rwgate, welcome to Phoenix, it is a nice deck and looks pretty, it might help if you posted what you'd like to get for it, also if you belong as a long time member to other forums. It's kinda hard to buy something expensive from some one with one post ya know? Why not pop up to the 'intoductions' thread and tell us about yourself? I've lived in Tucson for about 27 years and would like to meet a fellow gearhead in AZ sometime :toothy5:

I have a Teac V-8000S so I'm not in the market.
