The mass of the transformer on the Phase Linear 400 and 700 amps, coupled with the relatively weak aluminum chassis and rough shipping and handling can cause the chassis to develop a slight bend between the inside edge of the transformer and the first heat sink fins. This area is the high stress area in the event of a mechanical shock impulse.

Below are some photos showing methods and examples of how to carefully straighten a chassis with such a bend in it.

Our members are used to bent PLs in general, it's PL General Hospital.
