Spotify and other servers

I'm listening to Slash's playlist at the moment. Mostly metal. The other day I got a notice Tom Petty was adding a song. Are they real or are they Memorex. Spotify isn't compressed. They are missing some artist. I tried google left after a few min.s. Spotify has some music. I think they are doing a 30 day free trial. Stick a fork in me I'm a Pop Tart. If you don't know what I mean scream. Was looking for Traveling Wilburys.
