Question for the better educated:

I want to take out a high pass filter in passive speaker crossover in the easiest way so that I can add it back as easily as possible if I need to.

The capacitor is in series, the inductor is crossing from positive to negative side. Was planning to snip one end of the inductor which removes it for sure but was hoping to bypass the capacitor with a wire and leave this capacitor in circuit. Will this bypass effectively remove the capacitors effect to the circuit or do I need to remove it?
