I've taken to calling these amps "Phase Gump". You never know what you will find inside one.
I'm guessing the reason the previous owner didn't just change out the OEM bulbs is it must have been Christmas.

Now THAT, is amazing too!!!! By the way, how did the lighting look from the outside?? Reason I'm asking is I have a couple strings left over from a tree we had..........

The lights made an interesting pattern on the wall behind the amp... BTW, they were tapped into the power cord inside the amp... My first fear was perhaps the 6V secondary on the transformer had gone bad. But nope, just bad bulbs. Perhaps this was a test prototype for one of Joes light boards? lol

I used part of a string of miniature Christmas lights to light up the dial of a Soundesign receiver when I was teen aged. Looked good and nothing of value was ruined
