$249 a pair, I'm not sure if that's a good price, but Larry will chime in! It's hard to find great sounding 2-ways new/demo for that price...if I had the moola they'd be in Arizona based on Larry's rave reviews of the Epos line!! Some cool other things too...A Rouge Audio tube pre for $3,995 Yummy! Some great cartridges too!

I don't know if the x-overs are like mine; but for the tweeter there is just a cap and the woofer and mid has a 2 order. So they call it a 2 and 1/2 way. Not a 3 way. The 12.2s I'm going to send Lee anyone who has heard them just love them. I think they are about 1200.00 for them. Mike creek did a good job getting as much sound out of them for as small as they are. Stuwee there has to be some audio stores around you. If I had public trans or could get there with my scooter I would be shopping at least once a week.

Larry there is absolutely nothing down here in this cowtown, you have to go up to PHX for high end stuff, hell, anything stereo related to audition. Best Buy has Magnolia which carries Martin Logan HT stuff, but that's it for Tucson    There isn't even a certified repair center anymore, just a couple of my buds that do great work, that's it!!!!!!

Dude go listen to them and report back STAT!!!! bet they're really nice!
Stuwee, I am not in the market for anything right now.[/quote:tcwyxnzg]

Killjoy!! :cyclops:

I think I'll have Dale take me to Best Buy before the race and see what new slabs they have  , on second thought, I better not. I don't want to be unhappy with what I have now (not!!). Man I had them jammin' last night...again  , they're just too much!! Dancin' in my boxer shorts in the soundstage, switching between the Onix and the Thorens Hehe! Impressing no one but myself :rabbit: ...the Yammie got quite warm. I'm thinking about pulling the Pilot tube 232 out and hooking that up for some low level, melt into the couch fun! Except the speaker cables won't fit the output screws on it  , there has to be a way to rectify that!

Ther was one interesting point to Mark's system, the speaker cables were larger than his IC's.

It's a shame we could not have sat down and gone through his stuff with a fine tooth comb. The first thing I did after the handshakes and hugs was to establish eye contact and reiterate my desire for some service manuals for some Onix CD players. I was trying to be intimidating, but wasn't in the mood to really bring it off properly.
