Paul: is there a link you can provide, or what else do you know about the latest Sphongle release? I want it!

It's not been released yet, Nando. They just finished the mastering process last night. I sure hope we are looking at a month or two and not into fall. Still waiting for that solo Benji album to be released as well.

There was talk of a stream but some issue getting it up. If/when that happens and any other news I hear I'll post here first.

Chat seams to be a good way to post links to such things so keep an eye open t the top of the page.

Thanks, Paul. I am less of a moderator than someone who likes to contribute as much as he can to keep it entertaining here.

Please post in Chat when news comes. The link you provided for the Chic Corea jazz concert was great!

That show was sweet....I had no idea but they did more the following two nights as well. I would have provided that detail had I been in the know.

Paul: Most might be wondering how diverse our musical tastes might be when we can appreciate Chic Corea and Shpongle at the drop of a hat.

New Shponglin' Experiences... yeah... :thumbright:

How long ya think til it's "out"?

Hard to say Jer.....

Yesterday Simon said he was going to master and today he says it's complete......

I'm thinking a stream will be up in a few days. Like above...I'm hoping in about a month. I'm still waiting for that Benji album though. It is a cool album.

This summer should prove a good one for Shpongle and related fans. Lets just ope for a full band North American tour. Seeing Simon was TITS but to see Raja and the entire band and spectacle would be something else.

In the mean time have ya all heard the new Daft Punk record, "Random Access Memories"? This one has really grown on me......

It is something else....I could just see someone saying "He's listening to Daft Punk now but just a bit ago it was Slayer Reign In Blood"........

It's great to get to enjoy ll this excellent music. I've not been so inspired by new music in a long time......

Today, a friend of mine, Johnny, dropped by to visit while I was busy working in the front yard. He is going to the Black Sabbath concert on August 22nd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Now, after getting his ticket, he is worried. His seat is the 13th row from the stage, Seat 13. No BS! I would be proudly displaying that ticket stub in the memorabilia case.

Heck yeah! I'd prefer Bill Ward to be there but I'd still be in seat 13....

Here's another name for you all

Papadosio....I think everyone will really like them. Especially those of us that like to get on the upper end of the Mach scale ;)

I am willing to listen to a new band to me: Papadosio. Seems to roll off the tongue quite well. Would their music be dynamic enough for Lee to test any of his project amps?
