This is a "just an out of curiosity" question.
I picked up some non-polarized electrolytic capacitors yesterday and there were two options, radial and axial. I bought some of both, they were only a couple of bucks for 5 of each and they are both 50V 10uF. There is a huge difference in physical size and I was wondering why that might be.
The much smaller radial carries the logo Sun and the axial has some Chinese characters along with CD95.
The shop staff could not explain it so anybody here have an idea why one is so much bigger?
