I have the stuff to do it. Just been putting it off. Like many other things in my life. Need to wire in RCAs instead of those little clips. Then I could run some serious wires.

Hi Larry,
If the Speakers are not little consumer types, then the proper termination would be a dual
Banana plug that can transfer a lot more current and has a better interface resistance.
That is what is used on many Pro amps and PA type speakers.

They are not that expensive either from MPJA.
Thanks Sam
I have everything I bought them last year. I have done a few. Just need to find time and space then buy the cables. No these aren't some run of the mill speakers. They are my Norman Labs hooked up to the PL. So I just need to pull the woofer and do it. I have an Acct. at parts express.

Hi When I send my PL to Lee I will pull the speakers and do the mod. I will take pics and do a tutorial like Sam did. I will do a step by step with pics. I think I have some pics of an upgrade I did on http://www.shenandoahaudio.net

Here is part of the mod. It cost 900.00 to do. The customer is still a very good friend. He loves the speakers. I loved doing it. Speakers are my one vice I can't kick. It brings a big smile to my face when I do an upgrade and the customers jaw just drops. He thought he should pay more for the work. They were his parents so they were special.

Broken beyond repair but highly affable

I don't doubt at all but all I saw was either a reconing of a clear polyproylene and another 8" speaker or a new speaker and 8" with two empty spots (both ports)?

I have to go back and see what I probably missed and catch up.
