I've found that 45rpm make for a better sound with high quality pressings, then we have the half speed mastering concept that MFSL pioneered back in the late 1970's, much better for all vinyl fiends

The MFSL 45rpm of Alan Parson's "I Robot" is amazing! Mastered at 22 1/2 rpm! I have a few 12" 45 singles, records that a DJ would play at a disco, that have amazing dynamics. I'm all for ditching 33 1/3 in favor of double-disc 45 releases.
