Broken beyond repair but highly affable
I made a PDF copy of the owners manual which also has schematics.

See the pictures for details, it basically works but needs some TLC, not a lot of dough to adopt it.

Just $25 and shipping and it's yours.

Orange needs postage to send the goodies to his kin...

Still for sale...

Still available.

Still available. Guaranteed not to be a Nakamichi or your money back.

Cheaper than dirt, if you've seen dirt prices lately.

Make something of this deck, it has as much potential as WOPLing.

$20 and shipping, PDF files etc and maybe you'll surprise yourself.

Nando?

The only real thing the matter with this deck is when it goes to take up slack (like a Pioneer CT-F1250 does) it's a sort of abrupt affair. Tame that or use pause, it sounds very nice.

I'll open it up and try to see if it's a belt or what that causes that problem...meanwhile Gary, if you have the stripped down parts for this machine I'd appreciate it if you didn't toss them until I have an idea if I need one. That's about the only fault it has.

My cassette deck shelves runneth over, so not for many moons, I'm afraid.

Nando.

I understand...in general I'm just working to get a few things out of here and at some loss. If Gary hasn't already tossed his parts I was hoping to find something if I needed to, other than belts. He did say there is a gear that likes to break. Either it's some of that or a slipping belt for the takeup function, it's sorta startling. I paid a TH member for this and something else, you might find it if the Classifieds archives go back that far. TH Classifieds is completely closed to non-members/not logged in.

I have archived PMs stored here on my drives as well.
