PS Audio

Yeahg, I found that too Fred...THEY LOOK MAHVELOUS!!

I like Paul. Idk why there's so much hate for him on various forums, particularly that ass-hat 'science-based' forum. A victim of his own success perhaps?

I'm currently working with a customer on some IC's and speaker cables for his setup which uses some very fine components. He's going for some things from my 'World of Twist' range.
Some speakers look big enough to live in! lol

Or die in :-)

I’m guessing so.

I don’t have a problem with Amir, but it’s an open forum so things can go off the rails after he posts.

But in general he does follow up when new info comes to light, which is better than a closed-end review.

I don't really have a problem with Amir either. His testing regimens are mostly sound.
I do have a problem with his cult-ish little band of disciples and henchmen however.

That’s on them, not Amir.
Amir condones the abusiveness and bullying there in order to maintain his own status as 'God of inaudible distortion and all that is measurable'.
Ask me how I know. Ok, I'll tell you; I claimed CMRR was a 'real thing' and effective at mitigating EMI/RFI in cables....and got summarily shot to pieces.
They look down on cable guys like me there. I did manage to last more than a week though. Silver linings.

Amir is a wealthy putz with some expensive test equipment. I find his 'coverage' best taken with a large block of salt-lick, for horses.
Not discounting all his approaches but his smug attitude mostly ruined the benefit of going to him to get informed or educated - in some instances.
Some would even call him a real dick. The smug thing runs rampant in Bay Area. :p

His YouTube stream has suffered because of his attitude & approach... appropriately. And the continued fighting between him & Danny pretty much reveals all anyone needs to know about him.

The cult thing in the YT comments section & in the blog-realm was recognizable pretty quickly and easy to avoid...

He runs ASR forum. Touts himself as the be-all and end-all of audio equipment reviews, but in reality just focuses on looking for inaudible distortion and minor discrepancies in published specs.
Quite lame.

I was banned from there for suggesting CMRR was a 'real thing' and effective at mitigating EMI/RFI in cables. Hilarious.
I offered up a set of my 'Braided One' XLR cables for Amir to review and measure and he shyed off giving some lame excuse. I think he knew what the end result would be and just wanted to prevent his brown-noser loyal disciples from losing face. Bunch of tw@ts.

just out curisity , who is Amir ? Is the founder of Audio Science Review ( ASR ) forum ?
" the man with Pink Panther " ?
If yes, he seems like a divisive person to me.
Ciao
