- I'm the Red Knight, by grant of the Black
My wife and I were in an antique mall in Hobbs, New Mexico yesterday. In one booth were a pair of Definitive Technology 3-way towers, in oak. The footprint was about a foot square, and they were four to five feet tall. The cabinets were HEAVY and solid - they thumped well. Drivers are a dome tweeter, semi-horn loaded, mid, and woofer. The mid and woofer both have the "cones" that are flat in the front. The woofers need new surrounds, don't know about the mids. They are bi-wire, bi-amp capable. The sign said $1600 EACH when new (~1980), and now $200, but I think I can get them for $150.
