PL meters - amber LEDs

Not sure you meant to leave the amber in there but if they are behind a dial or meter etc a filter can be used to create colors, just like the multicolored displays you see on receivers, tape decks and others.

Do you still have contact with who installed them??

If you install the White Oak light board, you can use any color LED that you like.

Yep, that's what we have planned Joe, just trying to get the color code?? Or number?? How do they code those things??

He's sending his other 700B back in the cabbage case.

wavelength (nM) and intensity (mcd)

Why amber? Is that the desired color?

Yers to match the 400 in the first post. It has amber.

Are they in fact amber LED's? Or is it possible that either they are old lamps or like happens with Marantz that there is an aged diffuser that is creating the amber appearance?

To me it just looks like a poorly lit image under tungsten light, but as was stated you can create quite a few meter colors with LED's.

My old Sons of Ampzilla have that look, but it is age that is causing the yellowed color.
