Is it vellium like what is used as a diffuser in Marantz receivers? If so you can substitute parchment paper available at your local grocer or bakery supply store.

Parchment is made to be used in heat situations (400 degrees), lamps can become hot unless you have modified to LED's.

My amps have it. I was thnking of "refreshing" it. I found some vellum paper today that looked like it might work. I have another place I will look tomorrow which should carry both vellum and parchment.

Jani found some vellum for a Marantz 4 channel receiver I restored once. It was very close to the original. So close you couldn't tell.

Once you change the paper on the Marantz it will turn your green lights blue.

I think that was the original title of that Crystal Gayle song but they changed it before release.

Just fine. They had me confused the other day. The meter range switch setting is different on them. On one, the 0db setting is on the right, the other the left. The stencilling confirms this. On Larry's the 0db is on the right, with -20db on the left. On the 2nd one it's yjr opposite. I thought I had gotten into some extra strong craft brewery ale.

Noper, that is correct. And the switches CAN NOT be configured to go either way, another Phase Linear conundrum........
