What's one of these worth, Original box, owners manual, graphite arm, two headshells, has only played one side of one album, packed back up in 1983 after that....

Could be in the $350 - $450 range. My Pioneer PL-570 sold for $650. I was the second owner and it had more hours than the one you describe. The specs on the PL-707 are very good. The PL-570 weighs twice as much as the 707 and it was produced from 1976 -1979.

I believe Graham knows as he has a Pioneer PLC-590 and the P-3 is a step above that model. Either one would be on my list of desirable turntables.

Was the PL-3 the highest end table they made??
I dunno..I have a PL-4 and it's nothing spectacular looking to me, straight-arm standard turntable from the 80s.

Maybe I missed a few.

The 707 is what I am using on my main system. Good looking and good sounding. Getting ready to upgrade my cart soon. I added about ~6 lbs of sand to mine for added mass and placed it on a large and heavey Starrett granite surface block to help with feedback from the dB's. Have to remove the dust cover as well, that also picks up some feedback when cranking.

Chris in Ft Dodge got his 707 picked up, exactly as described and absolutely beautiful. Perhaps he'll post a pic or two...

Yep, Mr. Blackwod. It was his career at one time. He would lap them back to flat. He has some interesting stories...
