I was wondering what opinions people held on this deck, and how highly it ranked for recording from CD to Tape.

Also if I have some Metal Type IV tapes that I want to record some music on to, what are the correct settings to set the tape deck to?

Not much information on that particular model of Pioneer cassette deck. It sounds like a double cassette from the early 90's. If so, I don't think it has a manual selector for recording with different formulations of cassettes. It's done automatically when the cassette is loaded and played or recorded to. It, probably, has Auto BLE which does an admirable job for recording when working as it should.

It's part of a mini-stack and uses a connector ribbon or other wire bundle. If you use it in other than the set it came in you must know the voltage and the pinout.
Usually it cascades from the amp/control unit and act like a dual IDE cable on a computer.

Fisher was guilty of this also and if you really want to use it you'll beed to find the other parts of the service manual.

You are not the first to discover this but remember from now on. I've done it as well...they look so neat and then....

Ask the Briton wot had it-UK eBay.

It's obviously a hair roller. Think the seller was female or married.
