Phono Amps

Do you need the schematic to tell if I can use wire wounds? Here is the parts list. On the caps will swapping them out for which ever I choose. Is there any in particular I want to change?

I do not recommend wirewounds for any audio signal application. Go the metal film route.

Ordering parts. Dale resistors metal film. Polypropylene caps. They are self healing. 60.00 in parts. Less than 100.00 for from what I have read is a pretty good little phono amp. No bad reviews that I can find.

I'm really curious how this works out for you. Certainly if your chasing down noise I think battery is a good idea. I'm still discovering the benefits etc of my battery phono pre.

Got everything yesterday. Well not everything. The batteries, charger, I like the battery pack idea. The board is pretty heavy.

Soaking the board in alcohol. Will deflux it.
