The charges related to his allegedly trying to hire a murderer were dropped some time ago and Rudd made a surprise guilty plea to threatening to kill. The conviction could cost him seven years in prison although it's believed that a lesser sentence or dismissal of some things.

It's not certain that he has a job left drumming for AC/DC as Chris Slade has been doing a great job sitting in during the current tour, as he did in the early 90s.

Me, I would doubt it...I saw Slade on the Grammys and I'm betting he's staying.

And he was arrested then released on bail again, according to the BBC World Service. It was for drinking alcohol in violation of his plea bargain that left him under house arrest.
