You may remember my friend Thomas Dey on TH. His sister got very ill and he decided to move to the Chehalis, WA area to take care of her, uprooting him and his wife from New Cuyama, CA for good.
Things zigged and zagged for a bit...his sister passed on and he was committed to the moving process. The house they found and were about to close on developed previously unknown liens and it looked like it wouldn't work.
But according to his and my mutual friend Freddy1, it got straightened out EXCEPT that it will take another THREE WEEKS before they can sign and get the key!
What this means is that they are living in their vehicle temporarily, and Tom is in a motorized wheelchair so it's not easy.
Is there somebody here in the area who can put them up in a room or a trailer or something for a short while?
Fred has allowed me to give his email address, or you could PM him if you are on Tapeheads. At the moment he is limited as to communications and Fred passes messages along if Tom can't.
Living in a car sucks normally, I've been there. When you have a neuromuscular illness, ride in a wheelchair and are heavy because of it it really sucks. Thomas is a trooper though, he's never considered quitting.
Thanks.
