Has anyone tried using the ON Semiconductor MJ15022G as an output driver for a 400 amp?
Looking at the data sheet it looks quite similar to the factory drivers unless I'm missing something.
I have one that uses a PL-36 board and I will be using
MJ21196G for outputs.
Recommendations please?

I've seen them in the output and driver positions. Woefully inadequate for outputs and pretty noisy for drivers.

Drivers----RCA-410's.
Yes on the RCA's, I went through both my 400's yesterday and the one with the RCA-410's and the new MJ21196G outputs stands heads above the other that has mixed transistors...Theleft channel has Motorola SJ2741 drivers and XPL-909 outputs (all checked goodprior to installation) and the right channel has ON semiconductor MJ15022Gdrivers and brand new MJ21196G outputs. Compared to the first one it sounds dismal.

So the question now is, where can I get my hands on some genuine RCA-410's? There are counterfeits galore out there, and I've never bought any semiconductors outside of vendors like Mouser, with the sole exception of some that Ed sold me about 5 years ago. Any sage advise is gratefully sought!
