I'm looking for some wireless for outside. I like music while I work and it is nice when you are entertaining.. Anybody have any suggestions. I had a pair; but they lived a short life.

What's your outdoor set up - covered patio, screened in porch, totally uncovered? I use thrift store finds & run them til they give out. Too lazy to move stuff in & out so the cheap stuff stays outside. Small receiver, cheap DVD player for CD's & some Advent 3002's & it's all good. Total cost under $30.

BTW, I have a covered patio so the gear is protected from rain. I live in Mississippi so the gear is exposed to high humidity & heat, but almost no freezing conditions. The main stuff I deal with is dust, pollen & spiders.

No cover. I had some wireless ; but they only lasted a year. I would like some nice wireless. I have found I spend more time out there with music going. I could open my sound room window and just blast away. LOL

Well I bit the bullet and bought one 2 way AK that has a light in it or AT. Took some extra meds mind is wondering. Have to buy another for stereo. Will look cool on my deck. But I have to make a drop cord for the light. No biggy. When there is music out there I do more work in my yard. So I have to make every thing weather proof .

Those are pretty cool lookin' speaks, I hope the local male dogs don't lift their legs on them and short'em out :angryfire:

I have to get one more so it will be stereo. They will be nice at night on my deck. I have a light on my umbrella and on my railing. I have an outdoor fan for when it gets real hot. If I must say so. When the speakers are out there it is pretty sweet. I have a bird feeder and the doves and sparrows come in and eat. I use to set for hours and watch them. Use to have coffee in the mornings watch the sun come up. I built a stone patio for my grill so it wouldn't be on the deck. Took me a long time to dig it out with a roto-tiller attachment on my weedeater. My yard is clay. I have been putting gypsum on it for 3 years now so the clay will break down and my grass will grow. It is finally looking good except by my heat pump where the shade is I'm about to fix that. I'll put some potting soil down and seed it with special grass for the shade and starter fertilizer.

Well I ordered the other speaker. It doesn't have a light. But it looks the same.

It's great to spend the day, outside when the weather is nice. I was outside in the yard these past two days, until nightfall. Even, on a rainy day under the deck cover is relaxing. Makes it worth paying taxes as a property owner. I haven't rented since 1987, and all it took to convince me to buy a home was my neighbour's children accidentally scratching the side of my musclecar, while living in a townhouse.

Nando.

Well I'm testing them in the garage. It is hooked to the Creek in the back of the house. To cold to go outside right now. LOL
