One More Time Around, One Bad Son In Barrie

Was down in Barrie yesterday doing some work in my brothers basement. We planned this well as we knew OBS was hitting Barrie on their tour with Crash Karma. A relatively small venue, but had a lot more people then when I saw them last here in Peterborough. Another great show by these Canadian rockers. They played 2 new songs which I hadnt heard before. Speaking with the band after show I inquired about a new album. I was told by the guitar player that we will definitely see a new album in 2014. All of these guys are very friendly and hung around at their merch booth after the show. I was able to have a quick conversation with each of the members of the band afterwards.

Ben: You have been catching many great acts. Listening to the FM radio this morning, as I was going into work, I found the bands 54-40 and Big Sugar are playing in Victoria right now.

2 great bands Nando. A couple years back 54 40 played here in PTBO. While I didnt catch the show I could hear it from my house....several km's away. I had been sitting out back by the pool when I could clearly hear Baby Ran at the sound check. With that said... Big Sugar is one of the loudest bar bands I have ever seen. I seen them on the Hemi Vision tour, back when Gordie was still wearing the suit. He seems to have the Rasta thing on lock down now.
