Captionbot (captionbot.ai)...while it can't be taught to have a racist mentality and potty mouth like the infamous Tay (thanks, Reddit fans), the program that is supposed to try and identify what is in a picture is mostly laughable.
Once in a while it's spot on, but it has a few standard replies that sound ridiculous. It has a hard time telling you if it's a man or woman, and certain poses lead it to suggest it's a MAN holding a CELLPHONE when it usually is neither, it likes to guess that it's a giraffe or two, it does know to avoid Hitler, although it's missed out on some of his henchmen but it general it spits out the same 10 or twelve sentences when it has no idea or just says it's having trouble.
What is the point?
It's a lot like Windows 10 and just taking a beta into the official OS, leaving us to fend for ourselves and seemingly because they were afraid of Apple's new OS cutting into their shares and the prevalence of older Windows OS versions not making them any money...so they jumped before they had a 3/4 baked product.
PS It knows what a bike is and the Helix in my avatar was identified as a motorcycle with a book on it.
