One eyed Roxanne

You know, all this time and I thought Roxanne had a bad left eye. I had to crank the shit out of her to get that left meter to wake up but after dicking around with the Attenuator switch, her left eye is fine. It's a dirty contact on the switch. I bet I can fix that..... That dirty little red eyed.... Never mind....

Ya know, I work on all these amps and mine sits here with a dented rusty cover and a lazy eye. I got time now to fix all that. I even have good covers so it's not like it's a tough job.... And, I need to adjust the diffuser under the meter on the left. The three LED's are shining through brighter... BUT, I'd have to take her offline for an hour or two... I can't bear it....

I know that feelin. I usually can't keep a WOPL more than a couple weeks, then it's sold, so I'm usually listening to someone else's while it's being shook down...

That's the way to do it. They'd be asking me why I needed to do a 3 month burn in. I suppose I could give them some crazy ass electronics jargon like I was checking and monitoring the permeability of the iron core transformer or some shit.

Well, I got a cover primed and painted and installed. She looks great, just have to adjust the diffuser and LED's so they shine equally.

Roxanne is going to have some colorful brothers in the near future. My bro owns a Body Shop so I dropped off the sandblasted chassis' for my 4 consecutive 700 WOPL Clair's which are being built for my collection. They are going to be crazy..... At least nobody will steal them. Or, if they do.... They can't be mistaken for anybody's but mine. They will look like they are going 200mph.

Someone got a good buy on ebat this morning. A 700B for $375 buy it now. I really hope it was someone here.
